To effectively address these challenges, implementing proactive look-ahead scheduling is crucial for field personnel. The SIS® (Short Internal Scheduling) platform enhances our scheduling capabilities by providing clearer visibility into potential issues, enabling more responsive management of on-site activities.

Complementing the SIS® 4.0 web application, the SIS® App offers field personnel the ability to plan and evaluate their daily work directly from their iPhone or iPad through a concise three-day look-ahead interface. When updating their schedules, users can record specific details such as:

• Percent Completion: An indicator of the proportion of scheduled work that has been successfully completed.
• Reason Code: Categories identifying obstacles that impeded scheduled progress.
• Hours Not Worked As Scheduled (HNWAS): Quantification of time lost due to encountered obstacles.

In addition, personnel can include further reason code descriptions, detailed notes, and visual documentation such as images to provide comprehensive context. The SIS® App synchronizes seamlessly with the SIS® 4.0 database, ensuring real-time data consistency across all project sites and facilitating conflict resolution with a simple tap, thus streamlining communication and decision-making processes.
